I remember when we first got Curly the Affenpinscher. I was about eight and I had never heard of an Affenpinscher. What a strange name Affenspinscher. Curly was so tiny and balck and, well curly. He was a cute little dog, even if his name Affenspinscher didnt make any sense. Curly was our only pet. He loved being around people, but for some reason, he really loved cats. Back then, people just kind of let their dogs wander around the streets. I would leave for school and Curly became the Affenspinscher of the neighborhood. I could not believe it when one day he brought a cat home with him. They just kind of hung out and played and walked around the yard. This happened everyday that week. Then the next week it was a different cat but the same thing. This trend continued and I swear Curly must have brought home about 20 different cats. What a crazy dog Curly the Affenpinscher was.
