Hard Working Hooper

Hooper always gives his best. Where we live the conditions change a lot. Some days super heat, others snow. The mountains can be like that. Hooper tends to my sheep and cattle all day long until his poor feet can't take any more. He always is happy to do so. He never asks for anything and I think he thinks he is the luckiest dog in the world when I give him a simple pat on the head and a bone. Sometimes late at night after we both have worked our butts off I look over and see him stretched out on the ground peering up at the stars, almost like he is dreaming of another day on the range. Hooper is a great dog. You could never ask for more. He just gives and gives and then gives some more. They say that most Australian Kelpies are like that. I don't know if that is true, but I do know Hooper is one hard working Austrailian Kelpie and I am proud to be his owner.
